The paper presents the current status of practical guidance in vocational education institutions today. Since then, we have introduced the limitations of practical training methods of the current vocational training institutions. Next, we analyze the role of businesses in guiding students' practices. The results show that there are 3 effective time periods for businesses to work with the school to guide students' practice
