Abstract

The authors investigated whether Rwanda as a member of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) has comparative advantage in the products that it exports. The results have shown that Rwanda has revealed comparative advantage in 294 product lines. Pyrethrum, roots containing rotenone extracts has the highest index of 12139.35. The authors have concluded that Rwanda has comparative advantage and just needs to increase their production and promote them.
